Kauai Hawaii 2014

ALOHA!! We were so blessed to be able to share an amazing vacation with my family In Kauai Hawaii! My mom starts chemo today actually (Sept 17) and it was so nice to be able to be there with her before she has to go through all this! We had a blast!! We had never been to Kauai and I sure hope its not the last time we visit. It's beautiful!!!!! Here are some pics from the vaca! Mya was in heaven with Grammy Pammy in tow! She's a perfect beach bum. Traveling with kids is awesome!

Awww I love my Nick!

We were here for Britt's birthday and she announced that baby #3 is on their way April 11. They are going to wait to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl until he or she is born. Fun right!!?

Love Grammy Pammy and Papa Jim!

Nick and I got to take a helicopter ride over Kauai! This was a bucket list item for Nick and it was AMAZING!

Look whos going to school!

All ready for her very first day of school!
Here she is begging me to stay with her at school! I Knew after this leaving her was going to be hard!

This was a hard day for both of us! They pretty much had to peel her off of me she was crying so hard! I rushed out the door and cried too in my car. When I picked her up her teacher (Miss Tracy) said that she took about 10 min to calm down and then she was fine. Honestly it took me that long to calm down too....lol preschool is rough!! Luckily since that first day things have been better.  She doesn't cry anymore she just tells me (like 100 times) to wait outside in my car until shes done.

Yesterday they went to the fire station and she got a bright pink fire hat! She also told me her best friends are Ruby, Rex, James, Kara and Luke. When I picked her up the first thing she said was "mom I didn't cry school is so much fun"

Such a big girl! We're so proud!

Summer pics...

Wow this summer has flown by! Here are a few of the things we've been up to......

I had a craft booth at the Bluffdale Days show in August to try and raise money for our upcoming adoption! Sierra is from Bluffdale so her and her family came and sat with us almost the whole day. It was so much fun!
Nick and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary! It was so much fun! Nick sent me flowers, took me to my favorite restaurant, arranged a babysitter and made me the sweetest mix tape of songs that reminded him of me! Oh my gosh seriously SO cute! I am a spoiled lucky girl!
One of the hard parts of summer was finding out my mom has breast cancer. This has been one of the HARDEST things I have ever had to deal with. My mom is my hero and I hate seeing her scared or hurt in any way. All I want is for her to be okay. We have had so much love, support and prayers I know that she will be okay. I am grateful for the Gospel and the knowledge we have of forever families! I am also grateful for the comfort that the Holy Spirit can provide. I have felt my Heavenly Fathers love and comfort during this difficult time.
Family parties!

One of our favorite summer activities....swimming!!!!

Game night with Sierra!
Adoption Rocks float in the American Fork Days parade!

She loved jammin on her guitar...which she calls a buitar! LOL

Now that summer is over we are looking forward to our family trip to Hawaii!!!!!!!! Only 5 more days until we're off!!!
