She is growing too fast!

Since we've had some nice warm weather days and a few without one or all of us being sick lately she loves going outside. She loves walking Louie, drawing on the sidewalk with chalk, playing golf with Nick, or just chilling in the stroller on walks. We can't wait for the weather to warm up permanently (we have snow coming down today) so we can be out there more often.
He pulls her all over the place and she giggles and loves every second of it!
I don't think I can stress enough how much she loves to read! She will do this for hours and she knows so many parts of her books. It is the cutest thing to watch her try and read them....she's got a good memory!
Love this little munchkin!
Here's how she likes to relax after eating her dinner! She thinks she is too big to eat with her tray and wants to eat at the table with us. We need to work on this girls manners ;)

House update....

Check out our house!!! It is coming along we have actually been able to walk through it the past couple of days. Mya loves talking about her new house. She will go through each one of us and talks about how we all get new rooms.....even Louie! We can't decide which room to give Mya the big one upstairs that looks over the horses or one of the ones on the main floor closer to us. The room upstairs is huge and has a built in playroom in the wall.....she would be way spoiled if we decide to let her have that one. Out our back windows we overlook an equestrian park with horses. Mya is very excited about that. She will be able to watch them all the time! Sometimes they even come close to the concrete wall we have and we can boost her up to pet them. Anyway we are finding out just how stressful it is to build a house. They have already made one huge mistake while framing but luckily they are fixing it by paying extra to give us something better. Pretty sure they will be sick of us when this is all over but it's okay we will be sick of them too! We are so excited about all of this, can't wait until it's done! Although I know we are going to really miss living with Nick's parents. They are such amazing people and I have gotten a chance to get to know them so well and I think I could just stay here forever! We've learned a lot from them and they have been such a huge support we will never be able to thank them enough!

Our very own driveway!!! This is exciting for us we've never had our own before!
Here is a side view of our RV pad and back patio!
We have walls!!
Here is the view from the living room, that is the equestrian park behind us. And we have beautiful mountain views!
One of the rooms on the main floor....maybe Mya's! It has a great view!
Yay a roof! They are flying with this building process!
That room upstairs is the one that will either be a playroom or Mya's bedroom! It has a perfect view of the horses, and the window is long enough that she can see out of it on her own.
Here is Mya and I looking at the horses she likes to wave to them and count them. I never thought I would live this close to horses! I hope it's not too smelly!
We went out there last night and our shingles are on the roof as well as all of the exterior doors. So exciting!

Sick.......

It has been too long since I have done a post....sorry! This has been the worst sickly winter we have ever had. Luckily most of the sickness has just been Nick and I. Mya has a a runny nose a few times but nothing like we've had. Last Wednesday Brittney and Derek had to take Bentlie to Primary Children's Hospital. There they found out she had RSV, which is very dangerous. She is still there today, it's so sad! Last Saturday she had to be taken to the PICU and they though they were going to have to put a breathing tube in. It was pretty scary, so our friends and family did a fast for them Sunday and wow the powers of heaven were sent down to us! She was released from the PICU on Tuesday and never had to get that breathing tube. The Dr said that is the fastest he has seen any baby go from needing a breathing tube to only needing a low dose of oxygen. Prayers work! If that wasn't enough sadness we woke up Saturday morning to Mya having a temp over 102 and the worst croup cough. I have never seen her that sick. It scared me so bad I cried, ran and got Nick out of bed and we rushed her to Insta-Care. We found out that she has croup and all they could do was give her some steroids to help but it basically has to run its course. My mom had got tickets for us to see Disney on Ice that night too and we were so excited to take Mya cause she loves all the princesses. It broke my heart to have to turn that opportunity down with her but she was just too sick. So this past week we have done a lot of snuggling on the couch or her rocking chair, and watched a LOT and I do mean a LOT of Cinderella. She is in love with that movie she can literally watch it several times in a row. She loves the mice and the cat. She likes when Cinderella dances with the prince. She calls this movie Lella, Gus Gus, bippity bop boo. It is really cute! Her cough is so much better today than it's been and she seems to have more energy too which is good. I will tell you what there is nothing worse than having your sweet little child be sick. Mya has been such a healthy child we haven't had to experience this much and I am so thankful cause it sucks! We are just dying for spring to get here! This week it's been so warm like in the 60's with the sun shining! We haven't been able to enjoy much of it with Mya being sick but it's just nice to know that good weather is on it's way. Mya got to pick some new shoes for spring and she wears them and runs around the house. She will put them on and say to me "mommy new shoes fast" and then off she goes! We took some really cute video of her counting she can go from 1-10, and of her singing. Well remember how smart she was on my phone in December she's better now and she totally deleted them. So we will plan to get some more because it is pretty cute. She knows the whole song "The wheels on the bus". She loves to sing the one and only "Ice Ice Baby" from Vanilla ice! It's awesome so we will get some video once her voice comes back. We miss you a ton and are honestly counting down the days till we get to come see you in New York I feel like it will be here before we know it! Here are some cute pics of our sick little monkey!
Much love to ya!!!!
This was Saturday after we got home from the doctor. She was so out of it, I think because her fever was still so high. Poor thing slept like this on Nick for over an hour.
My mom got her this Hello Kitty pen, pad and sticker sheet to keep her busy while she was sick. My mom is so cute, Mya was in heaven with it. She loves to color and play with stickers.
Here's what happens when she is watching Cinderella, she won't look at me it's all about the TV. Can you see where she drew on her face!
She would be coloring or watching her movie one minute and asleep the next, her little body was fighting hard to get better and it made her so sleepy!
From the time she wakes up she starts asking me to watch Cinderella. Oh yeah and she hasn't had an appetite either but she's used her cute sick face a lot this week to ask for coke in a cup......I'm such a sucker! She's gonna want to get sick more often when she figures me out!
