Fun FHE for Fall!

We have a cute farm right up the street from us that does this awesome little fall petting zoo/ pumpkin picking thing. This is what we did for our FHE this past Monday. Of course the first thing Nick and Mya go towards are the farm dogs! There were 4 dogs and I think these two were in heaven. They both spent a good portion of our time here petting the puppies!
Had to stop in and see the little pony's they were so cute!
More pony's and chickens!
Bunnies!
Me, Mya and Goofy.....see he comes everywhere!

They had this tunnel for little kids of crrn husks.  Mya would walk through asking us to follow her while singing "following the leader". We must have gone through that thing 50 times!! :)

Here's Nick and one end of the tunnel....
And there's Mya coming out the other side! I love watching them play together. She loves her daddy, he is always such a good sport and will do anything that makes her smile!

We suck at corn mazes. We spent over 20 minutes wandering around and ended up coming out the beginning! Woops!

After all that fun Mya and I got to ride on a train around the farm. Mya loved it, the dogs ran by the side of us the whole way. Mya just kept saying her favorite train thing which is "toot toot, all aboard!"
We can't wait to come back here and pick some pumpkins for Halloween!

2 year pics!

Get ready to be amazed I swear there is NO WAY she could get any cuter.......
Mya doing her "pageant face" if you don't know what that is google "Toddlers in Tiaras". It is the most hilarious show ever! We thought it would be fun to teach miss Mya and she rocks the best pageant face we've seen!

Right now Goofy is her favorite! He is like a member of our family!

Is she not the most beautiful little girl in the world! We think so!

She loves horses. She had fun feeding them flowers. We had to keep running over there because they were trying to bite her hands and she just couldn't care less, she loves them!

This photo shoot with my friend Emily has to be one of the funnest ones we have ever done! Mya LOVED Emily! She was all smiles the whole time. Emily had a little father duster and kept asking Mya to blow it, then she would throw it up in the air and Mya would die laughing! We had an absolute blast! I still can't believe our little monkey is 2, it feels like we just got her. She is so much fun right now! I feel like she is my little buddy. We talk and play all day long, she's like this mini person.  She makes us smile so much.  I am so in love with this little girl I have no idea what we would do without her :)

Friends

Kendall & Mya swinging at the park!

Mya was so proud when she learned how to go down the slides all by herself!

Kendall and Mya doing the train! Mya was singing "toot toot all aboard!"
This is one of my best friends Kathryn and her little girl Kendall. I grew up next door to Kathryn and we have been friends forever! The cool thing is Kathryn and her husband Reed have 2 girls that they adopted! It's so nice to have a best friend that knows exactly what we are going through when it comes to adoption. She's been such a great support! We have been getting together and going to story time at the library with the girls. Kendall and Mya hit it off right away! They are so sweet together. They love singing and dancing at story time along with listening to stories! Last week we took them to the park and they played non stop for over an hour. Mya was so happy that she learned how to go down the slide all by herself! We're going on a bike ride with them tomorrow and Mya can't stop talking about it. We love playing with friends! Mya will be such a good big sister. She loves being around other kids.

We'll miss this warm weather!

My friend gave her these bunny boots and she found them in her closet. Now she wants to wear them EVERYWHERE! Honestly for the last week she wakes up and puts them on before she comes out for breakfast and cartoons, it's hilarious! She's my little fashionista!

One of our favorite things to do right now is go outside and hang out. Even though we don't have a yard we still find ways to have fun! I take Mya on a walk every morning! Now she likes to take her stroller and her  "babies" and push them up and down our driveway! That used to be Eyore but now Goofy, Donald and Daisy have taken his spot. She doesn't go many places without them. Then we'll just sit on the concrete or our chairs and have a little snack. We usually do this about the time Nick comes home so that we are right there waiting to welcome him home! Who wouldn't want this beautiful little face at home when they got there!

Petting Zoo

Mya and Cooper
These ducks were mean they kept biting Mya and Cooper, the kids thought it was funny and kept putting their fingers back in  the fence!

Here she is watching the horses and telling me she wants to ride. Last time we tried to have her ride the pony she cried and wouldn't do it.  But this time.......
Yay she did it! She knew exactly which pony she wanted to ride and she had a blast! On the way home she kept saying "mom Mya went on the horse and it was so much fun"

Such a big girl!
